New case workflow definition process
This newly designed function is based upon experience gained in many years of supporting and assisting firms in the use of Case Management systems. It allows you to create Workflows that exactly mirror the way both you and your firm works; to build intelligence in to the process thereby allowing much of the work to be carried out by less qualified staff under supervision. This highly configurable and intelligent Workflow definition system allows you to capitalise on the accumulated knowledge contained within your firm, of both Fee Earners and Support Staff.
New Case Manager Progression system
The Case Progression system guides you through the life of the case by asking questions, taking decisions based upon the answers given, and by making suggestions as to possible actions available. It creates personalised letters, completes forms, requests missing information required for documents, sends emails - in fact it handles all of the mundane tasks that are required during the progress of a case thereby enabling the Fee Earner or Paralegal to concentrate on the advice and management aspects of the Matter.
Money Laundering & Risk Management
The requirements of the 2003 Money Laundering legislation are fully catered for within AlphaLAW-uno. For example, on-screen prompts guide you through the collection of all necessary identification for new clients. In addition, AlphaLAW-UNO provides a full framework for the management of Risk. As an example, it can assign priority levels to case tasks which can then be automatically be escalated to a team leader or partner on set dates or after user definable periods of inactivity.
New User Configurable Due Today
The Due Today function has always been popular with our users. It provides you with vital information about Today's Appointments and Tasks as soon as you enter the system. The new version of the Due Today function allows you even more flexibility to decide the information that is important to you the user, and how it is displayed.
Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
AlphaLAW-UNO includes a fully featured KPI function. Key Performance Indicators are quantifiable measurements, agreed beforehand, that reflect the critical success factors of an organisation, a department or an individual. The AlphaLAW-UNO function enables you to preset and to automatically monitor performance against the planned measurements and goals.
Document Production
Fast and effortless Document and Form production means that from the start of a Matter it is possible to generate all relevant documentation automatically, at the touch of a button. Intelligent documents are contextually sensitive - letters look personalised not mass-produced.
Diary
The Diary has a totally new user interface in the familiar style of Microsoft Outlook making it easier for users to manage and schedule appointments. You can load your diary onto devices such as PDAs and Smartphones for users away from the office and automatically 'resynchronise' them when you return.
