AlphaLAW-Vantage - Computer-Telephony Integration (CTI)

Recognising the need to simplify the recording and costing of telephone calls together with the increased convergence of voice and data technologies MSS has added a new product feature to its AlphaLAW-Vantage solution: a software module to provide integration with TAPI compatible telephone systems.

AlphaLAW-Vantage unites the functionality of a law firm's computer system and telephone system offering a tool for accessing, retrieving, and sharing information. This integration of computers and telephones offers law firms a new way to boost firm productivity and efficiency.

Applying this to a typical scenario, when a client calls to speak to a solicitor, the system will automatically create an attendance note and record the amount of time against the client matter. This information is then logged in the AlphaLAW-Vantage time and billing system.

As the telephone call is received by the solicitor then, on their desktop, a "screen pop-up" will display all of the client and matter information relating to the incomming caller so that they are immediately made aware of all details relating to the caller. In addition, the call can be linked to case management for tracking client activity, updating client records, and communicating important client information.

With the new AlphaLAW-Vantage CTI feature law firms can enjoy the major benefits of improved client service and greater productivity, resulting in increased profitability.
