MSS have developed a new wireless Laptop and PDA interface application for AlphaLAW-Vantage. This is part of the MSS mobile working strategy for law firms, enabling them to streamline processes, improve client service, increase productivity and profitability.
This is particularly useful for solicitors, as it gives them mobile on-demand access to all areas of their AlphaLAW-Vantage Practice and Case Management system.
Utilising the latest GPRS mobile telephony technology, (which is nearly ten times faster than traditional mobile technologies), solicitors can link into their office based servers from anywhere in the world. This enables them to access and update matters and view documents through a GPRS mobile telephone link connected to a Laptop computer. MSS is in no doubt that this innovative use of wireless technology working in conjunction with their AlphaLAW-Vantage software will bring the benefits of increased individual productivity, improved client billing and enhanced collaboration, all in a highly secure environment.

This is one of many exciting AlphaLAW features for solicitors who are in and out of the office who need access to important information at all times. The ability to simply access your data and head out the door is something that many solicitors will find absolutely essential.
It utilises the Acer Pocket PC, one of the latest and most advanced of hand held technologies. As well as containing the AlphaLAW time recording and enquiry application it also contains a wide range of standard applications including diary/calendar, word processing, spreadsheet and voice recording with optionalemail and Bluetooth connectivity.
