AlphaLAW Legal Software

Press Release

Unprecedented 13 first places out of 14 clinches 1st place for AlphaLAW Case and Practice Management system supplier MSS in the 2005 Law Society Software Solutions guide

Feb 2005

With suppliers having very similar levels of technology and a degree of similarity between the features of the products, what differentiates MSS from other legal software suppliers is the level of quality service provided. MSS believes that delivering superior customer service will imprint their products in the minds of the customer and exceeding customers' expectations is MSS’s deciding factor in their battle for legal firm’s business.

This philosophy earned the Farnborough based company the top position out of the 16 suppliers who made this year’s guide. Charles Christain in his comments in the Software Solutions Guide said “This is an achievement no other supplier has equaled in the seven years the Guide has been running”. To make the 2005 guide, the seventh edition, suppliers were required to demonstrate financial stability, satisfactory customer feedback research, and a product that included an integrated Practice Management system. .

As well as delivering superior customer service MSS managing director Simon Meehan attributed MSS success to improved product capabilities and the ongoing high level of customer communications.

Following the launch of the Software Solutions Guide at The Law Society, Simon Meehan, Managing Director of MSS gave his view on the results of the research and the conclusions reached by the selection panel. He said: ‘this has not come out of the blue – we looked at our results in previous years and acted on the feedback. We needed to improve our existing clients’ understanding of the potential of our AlphaLAW Case and Practice Management solutions. Firms have to make much better use of their IT solutions that they pay a lot of money for. It is frequently the case that firms do not gain all the benefits from their investment in technology, thereby missing out on improved efficiency and productivity that should result from this investment. In addition we increased our level of communication with clients with the introduction of regular free road-shows, product workshops, questionnaires and newsletters”.

The Software Solutions Guide pinpoints MSS as the leading supplier in the marketplace. MSS’s awareness of market trends results in ongoing improvements to our AlphaLAW solutions, which ensures both new and existing customers continue to have leading edge technology at their fingertips. In addition to highlighting AlphaLAW’s extensive software capabilities the research undertaken by The Law Society clearly demonstrated MSS’s commitment to the support and involvement of our growing customer base.
