MSS FEATURED IN 2004 SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS GUIDE
MSS has again been included in the Law Society's annual 'Software Solutions Guide' The guide aims to simplify IT procurement for legal practices by recommending only those legal IT suppliers who have successfully completed its rigorous selection process.

MSS continues to earn its place in this Guide on the strength of two very good products: the AlphaLAW-Vantage and AlphaLAW-esprit systems. Although there is an element of overlap between the two, AlphaLAW-Vantage is designed primarily for larger firms wanting more extensive practice management and fee earner support information, as well as support for case management operations. That said, despite its low price, AlphaLAW-esprit entry-level system is certainly not the poor relation, as it contains a lot of excellent features not usually found in products of this price and type. Who should buy these systems? Both are low cost products and while AlphaLAW-Vantage should be on the short lists of mid-to-larger sized High Street firms, particularly those also wanting case management – it is also used by a number of larger, multi-branch practices; I would recommend AlphaLAW-esprit to very small and smaller-to-mid sized High Street firms, as well as more ambitious sole practitioners.
